Pair Firing Matches

Happy New Years to all you F -classers! Wishes for health and happiness for all you and your families!

Well, we are eagerly awaiting the 2022 shooting season and thought we’d introduce Pair-Fire for our next season. 

Not to worry. This WILL NOT  take the place of our regular match in any way. It will be shot after the regular full F-Class match is completed. If you’d like to stay and have more fun, then read on. This will be two 15/17 shot relays depending on if you convert your first two sighters. 

If you loose your first relay your out after 15/17 rounds. 

This will be a single elimination match in order to keep the round count down as well as the time. This could change to double elimination with a losers bracket depending on on participation.

We will randomly pair up as many shooters that want to shoot and have a single relay 15/17 round match. Whichever the top two scoring competitors rank (Creedmoor rules) will move on to the second and final relay 15/17 round Relay for the win! 

Rules as follows
1.   All competitors will start at the same time with 45 seconds to fire each shot. ( no more sneaking a peak at your neighbors target for wind readings)

2.   The first two shots will be sighters. These sighters are convertible to record and must be announced immediately after the second shot is scored You cannot convert one! Its's both or none. This should explain the 15 or 17 shot relay.

3.  Each team will use one 45 second timer (clock,  phone, etc.) to keep time and physically write down the score of your opponent after each shot.

4.  The 7 second delay will be used so DON’T start the clock until the shot has appeared on the ShotMarker

Remember to shoot your last two shots if you did not convert your first two sighters.

This a great way to learn to read and shoot in the non ideal wind and will force you to be a better reader!
