NRA Approved F-CLASS & MID-RANGE PRONE (MRP) 600 Yard Match

Program

DATES: 2/28/26, 3/28/26, 4/25/26, 5/23/26, 6/27/26, 7/25/26, 8/22/26,

9/26/26, 10/24/2026, 11/28/26.

4th Saturday of the Month starting in February through November.

Eligibility: NRA membership is not required.

MSSA membership not required to shoot in organized matches.

Rules: Current NRA High Power and NRA F-Class Rifle rules will govern. 

Shot Markers will be in use, however, shooters will also be required to score. Scorecards will be used as the official score. Shooters will be asked to assist in target setup.

2. F/TR (NRA)

3. MRP Any/Any (NRA Mid-Range Prone) (Sling)

4. MRP Service Rifle (NRA Mid-Range Prone) (Sling)

5. FPR (Prone) (Field Precision Rifle) (Suppressors, Breaks) NRA if qualifying rifles are used. 

6. AR-Tactical (NRA Mid-Range Prone)

Awards: Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place when 5 or more shooters in a class. 1stPlace medals for 2-4 shooters in a class. 

Medals for Individual Match Winners when 3 or more shooters in a class.

Match Fee: - $35 adults; Juniors - (16 & Under) - $20

Registration: From 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM on day of the match. Meet at the 600 yard firing line.

Squadding: Will be determined at random and number of relays to be determined by shooter count.

Changes to this program may occur at the discretion of the match director(s). 

Course of Fire:

Match 1: Unlimited sighting shots and 20 record shots @ 600 yards in a time

limit of 25 minutes.

Match 2: 2 sighting shots and 20 record shots @ 600 yards in a time limit of

25 minutes.

Match 3: 2 sighting shots and 20 record shots @ 600 yards in a time limit of 25 minutes.
