2025 MidSouth NRA Regional Championship Match 10/26-27/2024

MATCH PROGRAM

2025 NRA Midsouth Regional Mid-Range Combined Championship

Memphis Sport Shooting Association

Oct 25 _ 26, 2025-Approx. Attendance 60

This year MSSA will be hosting the Midsouth Regional Mid-Range Prone/F-Class Combined Championship at 9428 Old Brownsville Rd, Lakeland, TN 38002. This match will be Registered and conducted per NRA Registered rules governing Highpower Rifle.

Per NRA rules, a regional match must consist of 120 shots. We will be shooting 6 matches rather than the traditional 5, therefore, this will be a 6 x 600 match.

Use of Electronic Targets: This match will utilize the ShotMarker target system.

Dropped Shots: If a competitor’s shot does not register, the scorer should ask the scorer on either side if they received an extra shot. If so, the shot is scored as a 0. If not, the shooter is allowed to refire. If that shot registers on target, it will be scored. If that shot does not register, contact a Match Official. If a competitor receives an extra shot on target, they can take the higher score.

Rifle Classes: Service Rifle and Any Rifle as defined in Section 3 for Prone under Highpower Rules and Section 3 for F-Open and F-T/R under F-Class rules.

Targets: Targets used will be MR-1 for Prone and MR-1FC for F-class.

Rules: NRA Rule 9.1.1, as it pertains to changing rifles between matches, does not apply. All other current NRA rules will apply where appropriate. Rifles in excess of .308 caliber are not allowed (i.e. .300 Win Mag is OK, but .338 Lapua is prohibited).

Registration: Registration for all matches will be online or begin at 7:00AM CDT and close promptly at 8:00AM CDT each day. Shooters who arrive after 8:00AM CDT may or may not be squadded at the sole discretion of the match officials. Shooters are very strongly encouraged to register online and arrive at the start of registration for the day.

Competitor Eligibility: NRA Membership is encouraged but not required.

Range Capacity: 22 firing points, 66 competitors maximum.

No refunds will be made after firing commences on Saturday 10/25. Junior entrants under 16 years of age at the time of the match, fee will be $35.00.

Late Registration: The above fees apply to shooters pre-registering. Anyone registering on day of match will be assessed a $10.00 late fee.

Pre-Registration online is highly suggested as it will expedite squadding on Saturday and help us with not having to handle cash on day of match.

Challenge Fees: A fee of $2.00 will be collected in advance of each challenge.

Target Service, Scoring: The 3 or 4-relay rotation will be used as competitor count dictates. Competitors will score. Standard scoring methods will be used.
